I bought a nice (old) 4Star LQ. The structure is solid, but there was a leak through the AC, and the floor is damaged (soft, rotted), so I m replacing it. It's not the whole floor- just the path to the bathroom and in front of the entry door.
It had vinyl over a thicker plywood on top of the aluminum flooring. I plan to use the same (unless there are better options), but do I need to put anything on the aluminum or plywood or in between the 2? like to prevent condensation damage, insulation, etc?

I had to do the same thing...I just put it back together like the rest of the floor looked, just insulation between the two. Mine however did not have aluminum on the very bottom, just a thin piece of 1/8 in plywood or something that resembled plywood.
