I have a Nissan Frontier, 2013, 6 speed manual transmission, am considering towing a 2 horse trailer, but will only have 1 horse in the trailer. the truck doesn't have a factory installed hitch. What should I look for and who should be installing it? Is this size truck ok for towing a horse trailer, I'm concerned about the horse moving around some and possibility of trailer sway...anyone have any suggestions or information? Rita

You have to look at the tow capastiy of the truck in question, what is the max. Then add up the trailer and the horse and any thing els you are putting in the truck, water, hay ect Remember going foward is part of the job STOPPING is the problme

Great advice! Maybe a Euro style two horse, not a steel tank. A truck accessory store or hitch store should help you with your towing equipment.
