I have a 2 horse bumper pull straight load trailer that needs the floorboards replaced. I was wondering what the best wood was for horse trailers. I was looking in to pressure treated wood as many had recommended that to me. Here is the link to what I was thinking of going for https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.2x10x8-treated-wood.1000137749.ht... Thoughts?

The floorboards in my McBride bumper pull are 6/4 (1 1/2") rough cut white oak, they have been in for 15 yrs. and are still solid. You will have to source them from a proper lumber yard, but you will probably never have to worry about them again.

I second the rough cut white oak. Treated lumber now days is very caustic to metal, and the rough cut won't be as slick as treated lumber.
