In my experience on 6 or so trailers, there has NOT been any place on a trailer that indicates the weight of the trailer. You would think that something like that could be included on the GVWR tag, but this has not been the case. Sometimes the trailer weight may be indicated on the Certificate of Origin, but that likely exists on only new trailers. Best to take it to a scale and get an accurate weight on it.

^^^^^ ditto Certificate of origin should have the build weight of the trailer but likely might be hard to find on an older trailer. Hit the scales at a feed store or local truck stop.

most trailers do not have the weight on them from my experience. your best bet is to take it to the nearest truck stop and get a weight print out so you can include the trailer weight in the ad. best of luck selling your trailer.

I am trying to sell it and many people want to know the weight.. It is a 3 horse C&C with 9 1/2 Living quarters. 7 wide.. I will look through my paperwork and see what I can figure out. They have a 1/2 ton truck. I am not able to haul it to a scale right now. Thanks for all the help guys..
