We purchased a 2006 Kiefer Genesis used. The outside & Interior auxilery lights do not work. We have the 2 toggle switches on the left back of the trailer. Anyone have suggestions. Thanks in advance.

If beeoerdog's suggestion doesn't work...plan on doing continuity testing...

Check you truck's trailer receptacle with a VOM. The pin in the 1 oclock position feeds the aux trailer circuit. As was stated, some trucks need to have their ignition switches "ON", some actually have to have the engines running before power is routed to the receptacle. This circuit is also protected by a fuse which can blow if there is a circuit fault. If this pin isn't being powered by B+ 12V, your trailer lights won't work, if it doesn't have its own battery. If you have power at the pin, pull the trailer's switches out and see if they have power available to them. If you don't, you will need to check the wiring from the trailer's plug to the switches. If you do have power to the switches, then you should check their outputs and the individual light sockets for power. Many times no power to the trailer is a fault at the plug with pulled terminals or broken wires. When reinstalling the plug's wiring, make sure to encase the terminals in dielectric grease to resist any corrosion. Many times if this wiring is pulled, you will find the truck's aux fuse will be blown.
