Hi I am considering purchase of a used featherlite aluminum trailer that has the black skins on the outside. I noticed from the pictures the black is cloudy and dull in places. I was wondering if that is something that can be buffed out or restored, or if you would have to repaint? Thanks for any and all advice!

If the paint is not obviously worn thin, you should be able to restore some gloss. Maguires makes some good restoration products for dull paint, if you want to do it yourself. We use it on antique vehicles. Your profile doesn't say where you're located, but check bluebeacon.com to see if they have a facility close to you. I've watched some pretty nasty painted trailers go thru when I'm there with ours, come out looking real good. Being the Featherlite is aluminum, they will make the bare Al also shine like new.
