Could I please ask for input on HART brand horse trailers? I've heard they are supposed to be very well built. Looking at a 1998 that looks good from pictures, but a little concerned about age... any thoughts, comments, etc would be greatly appreciated!

I just bought a 1994 Hart 3 horse LQ, and I love it. the construction is excellent, especially inside the stall area, the latches on the dividers are still working perfectly and smooth as glass despite its age. the hardware looks like solid milled aluminum- very nice. From what I was told, the older aluminum horse trailers like the Hart, are a little heavier than the newer ones, so if anything they are sturdier, I'd think. The only things that I am "upgrading" are the aesthetics like recovering the seat cushions, and things like that. I would however, recommend that you get up on the roof and check the sealant around the running lights, vents, and seams- that may be worn out but is easy to fix and not expensive.
