This question is mostly for Gard as he is our expert! I was wondering if I should wait until the summer to acid wash and apply the bed liner coating? It is winter out here in Alberta and last weekend our temperatures were -40. I wonder if there is any harm in using the trailer as is for now and then waiting until summer to do the acid washing? I could always take the trailer to the car wash to rinse off the acid but it won't dry out due to the cold weather. If you think it is important enough to do right now I can always take it to a trailer outlet and have them do it indoors. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks!

Save yourself the uncomfortable cold experience. Wait until this summer to effect the coating process. You'll feel better and do a much improved job. There's no real hurry, as things will change very little over the next couple of months.

Thank you Gard! I will wait until summer then. Happy to not have to try and do this in the cold!I was most interested to note the presence of a sticker in my trailer that actually mentions acid washing. It says to make sure that the acid is thoroughly rinsed off before the floor mats are put back in or the warranty may be voided. Until you first mentioned the acid washing I had never heard if it before.Cheers!
