Hello
Recently just purchased a GN three horse partial LQ trailer.
The LQ portion was a DIY by a previous owner. I'm looking for advise on how
to run the lights and appliances without being hooked to a power source.
The previous owner told me all plugs are 110v. My problem is I know nothing about wiring , I have been reading a lot about inverters and deep cycle batteries but im more confused then ever.
What do I need to look at on my trailer to know what I need to do ?
any advise as all to point me in the right direction would be helpful.
I would like to knot have to buy a generator and I am not sure if I need an inverter.
FYI , there is no water toilet or AC in trailer to worry about.
I would just like to run the lights , microwave, coffee maker and the laptop.

Your choices are buy a generator or install solar panels and an inverter. It will take a big investment in batteries to allow you to run a microwave with solar power. A generator would be my choice. A smaller generator would work if you don't want to run ac.

You have to options. Either buy a generator or install solar panels and an inverter. It would take a major investment in batteries to run a microwave on solar power. My choice would be a generator. A small generator will run your appliances, especially if you don't need to run ac.
