That's 3 months after they serviced it, and one week after they it was the thermocouple ?If they wires were indeed corroded, would it still work on electricity?I'm worried I'm getting ripped off.Thanks!

Can't tell you without pictures.  Generally, corroded wires can be replaced or cleaned.  Done it many times.

Corroded wires can interrupt the proper operation of many types of electrical devices. Fortunately in many cases, the fix can be made with the cleaning of the wiring or terminals, without having to replace the affected electrical unit. After the junctions are cleaned and reassembled, adding a dielectric grease to the terminals will greatly reduce the problem from reoccurring.
