I don't think of myself as a softie or overly compassionate person but I have felt bad for the horses here in southern Ohio this winter. It has been an unusually cold and snowy winter. As I was feeding them this week in the sub zero weather, I told them that horse flys aren't bad compared to this cold. They just kept eating.

cajunmuleman, tell you the truth, this is really extreme for us too. We usually get a few snows and weather in the teens but this year it is just COLD. But , we aren't as surprised as you southerners. So much for us going south for warmer weather. By the way , do you have any idea how to attach a picture to a post? I had a good picture of the horses in the storm Saturday morning but can't figure out how to attach it.
