2004 Exiss 300 Limited, titled in 2005. We've owned the trailer for about 18 months, but I don't know how old the tires are--can't look for manufacture date as I'm not home at this time. Tires still look great, but yesterday I went out and found a flat on the driver's side rear tire. There is a small cut on the side wall, near the tread. Can that be repaired, or is that a stupid question given location and possible age of tires?
If I have to replace, can I get away with just replacing the one tire? I would really have to stretch my budget to replace all 4 at this time.
I think the tires are 16" LT tires, but I didn't look for specifics.

Sidewall cuts and cracks should not be repaired... I would almost be willing to bet that trailer has the original tires on it. Replace all four with "LT" truck tires. Take a close look at the spare also, it's probably old and rotten also.

Retento, is correct, you're carrying precious cargo plus your truck and family if blowouts occur it can get nasty real quick. Air the flat tire back up and take some soap bubbles and see if the crack is leaking. You could replace just one and "fix" the current problem but you have to assume that the others are just in as bad shape. Don't risk everything. Even if the crack isn't leaking and the tire goes down on another leak that means you have sidewall cracks most likely on all tires.

You'd be better to replace. I wanted to wait for financial reasons too and ended up with a blow out and had to repair the fender which was an added cost. I could have bought a couple of tires for what it cost me to fix my fender.I was on vacation when it happened so I bought a tire at that time. It was in October and I was looking at another few months of the riding season. I saved my money and replaced all the tires the following early summer. The tire I bought at the time on vacation, I put on my spare.
