Can anyone give me a ball park estimate of the cost of getting an axle replaced on a sundowner 2 horse? How hard is it to get parts for this kind of thing?

For a 7,000 # with self adjusting electric drums, my cost, $650. For 8,000 # with electric brakes, $800. For 8,000 # with hydraulic disc cost $1250 each. Kinda depends on what you're needing. Did my own installation. Take about 1.5 - 2 hours each. These are prices within the last two years. Depending on what's wrong but I think it's cheaper and easier to replace than rebuild. Usually they are bent by the time they need brakes and bearings.
