Hey folks,What are some thoughts on towing a two horse trailer with an F 250 manual transmission truck? I haven't bought the truck just yet but am very tempted as I Enjoy driving standard. That said, I have never towed with a standard so I wondered if anyone who had done so has some advice.

It all depends on how good a driver you are. There's no good a reason not to. If you enjoy a standard tranny, you shouldn't have any problems.
I've got a lot of miles towing with a clutch. They were trouble free. However, there are times when a torque converter will walk you out of a steep or slippery spot, when you're towing a heavy load. At my present age, I like an auto for pulling, whilst owning a few manual automobiles for fun.
It's your choice. Either system is very competent.

YES...you can...I've switched to auto due to duramax-allison combos...
