Has anyone ever cut the floor mat around the tack compartment in a 2 horse slant load with rear tack? It is such a job to move the tack and a 25 gal water upright tank out of the compartment so I can hose out the trailer floor. I was thinking about cutting the mat and calking around the gap but the piece left in the second stall would only be inches wide at the head end, don't know if this would be an issue and was wondering if anybody ever did it and how?
