I plugged in the trailer today. Turned the refer on electric to start it cooling. I heard a pop. The microwave was still blinking so went on my way. The refer did not get cold. The GFI outlet had tripped. Fixed that, turned fridge on again and again it tripped the GFI. I can run a fan and radio (in addition to the microwave), turn those off and turn on fridge and it trips. So I have the fridge on propane now, but what could be the problem and is it easily fixable for the weekend?

This happened to me. Had a hard time figuring it out. Turns out I had a bad gfi outlet. Replaced the outlet, and refrigerator works fine now....knock wood.

Thank you Mud Dog. The propane did work. I pulled the cover this morning and everything seems fine. The bottom outlet is full of dirt. I pressure washed the trailer a few days ago and wondering if I got it wet inside trying to get the cover clean. Well at least I can use propane at the show this weekend.
