Do any trailers have a thicker skin than .04 or .05. I'm thinking that all extruded sides are created equal either. Can anyone give me their best guess on which is best. I mostly trail ride and need to tie to my trailer, or even at the shows I go too. I have known people to tie rubber belting on the side to keep the sides nice, and I expect that is why some use the tie system. Any words of wisdom here? Thanks, K88

It seems the rubber belting is a good idea, albeit a tad cumbersome to maneuver and store in a trailer( based on my experience with used conveyer belting) Will the high ties keep the horses far enough away from the sides of the trailer?

Funny, it was cumbersome for them to get that out every ride and the tie line would be out just far enough for my horses to spin around and give a good kick...You think it's new, there's your first dent.
