A couple of times we got catch saddling our horses in the rain. With the door open the water just ran into the tack room. I found a supplier of aluminum drip rail and going to install on the head tail and back of the trailer.

The rail came in 8’ sections. I’m having a welding shop weld the rails together for the head & tail side. I will have them back tomorrow and post some pictures of the finished product.

If you ever get in a jamb and need a drip rail in a hurry, most big box stores carry aluminum "L" angle material. A strip of that with some caulking on the attaching surface, is easily fastened with blind rivets, works very well and is inexpensive.

I spent last weekend was in Texas with the horses. Friday night, I observed the water from the A/C being shed off away from the side of the trailer. Saturday morning a thunderstorm when through and I didn't get to see the run off but the inside of the stalls was dry . I'm happy with it. jg
