I just bought a trailer that after i got it home(7 days later) i started cleaning it out and when i went into the nose to clean the cuboards i found the carpet to be wet and the walls water stained. I do not see any mold just water stains and the panelling is soft in spots do i really need to rip it all out and replace it? or can i just dry it out and paint over it. I really do not have the money to replace it right now as the dealer only paid for a partial of the bill to get it re caulked and sealed.

Depends on how quickly and thoroughly you dry it out. Faster the better, before the mold & mildew grow. Worth a try with a heater and dehumidifier, fans, etc. You might open a section of the wall/roof and direct a fan to the area.

This is one of those pay me now or pay me later issues...:( If you put off fixing it now, you may be dealing with a catastrophic mold problem breaking out inside your trailer...:(
