We seriously looked at 2 last time we were trailer shopping. The deal breaker was that it really seemed to make the LQ appear a lot smaller than it was. When on the couch, with a rear bath, you can see into the nose. With a front bath, you just have that 12' (or whatever length LQ') less the bath area to look at. Appeared really small.
Another issue is that the slant wall seemed to have a lot of wasted space due to the angle. Cabinets had a real small, narrow 'V' in them that really couldn't be used for much.
The last reason, was that I was concerned with resale. Due to not seeing to many of them out there, must not be to popular.

We have built quite a few with front bathrooms located all the way across the front and also in a front corner with a hallway past into the gooseneck. Our own LQ is a front bath. Most of these are fairly large 14' SW plus size, with a finished mid tack. We eliminate the camper door and make the entry door through the mid tack which is finished like the rest of the LQ. Room for a saddle rack, lots of hooks, and a big closet in the mid tack, and a regular door, not a trailer door that has to be slammed to latch. This concept originated when we had customers who wanted to make their primary entry through the mid tack but didn't want to have to walk thru the bathroom to do so. Most of these folks said they rarely used their camper door. The space that the camper door took up is so valuable for extra storage etc., so we just deleted it. This isn't for everyone, but those who have built an LQ this way really like it.
