Looking at a 2008 Dodge 3500 Diesel Crew Cab, 4 wheel drive. Truck was used to pull a camper, and is in immaculate condition, with 40,000 miles. Pros and cons of Cummins engine, and transmission? I am not "married" to a particular brand. They are asking 32K. Blue book is 38K. Any advice/opinion appreciated.

Thanks!

They are a popular truck

Cummins are well know for their diesel engines. As far diesel go, they are dependable and the cost to repair is slightly better than V-8 that Ford and GM use.

If the truck is in good shape, it should serve you well.
