Subject: ?? Reinforcing butt bars or ?? for horse that leans on butt bar

I have a large warmblood mare that I haul in a Kiefer Genesis straight-load GN.  She leans back on the butt bar.  I had the butt bar attachments reinforced about 3 years ago (when one started to pull out).  The shop put extra tie rings on the outside of the trailer where the butt bar attaches to provide extra strength.

Should I just have it reinforced again, or is there a better approach?

The mare has plenty of room in the trailer.  The butt bars have two settings - one is all the way back, just forward of the ramp.  I have been using the more forward setting so there is room for her tail between the ramp and butt bar.  Should I move the butt bar back so that it is right on the ramp?  This could be hard on her tail.  Or should I have a second butt bar attached, maybe a few inches higher, to help keep her from leaning back.

My primary concern is safety.  Current butt bar attaches to the partition.  I was thinking that if I got a second butt bar that went all the way across the back, I could remove the partition and haul her facing backward or diagonally.

Advice and experience is welcome.
