I am wanting buy a quality used two horse trailer and want your opinions whether you would go with a 4star bumper pull 2002 model in excellent condition or a 1997 Hart gn straight load with ramp thoroughbred style

I don't think you can go wrong with either brand. Do you prefer a gooseneck or a bumper pull? Which trailer is in better condition? Which set up as far as stall configuration do you prefer?

I prefer a slant load. The 4 star is a slant but I am concerned about the bumper pull. I have an F250 powerstroke diesel. So I can pull either trailer easily. Do you like bumper pulls? I do not plan to camp andwant to be able to go to a less beefy truck soon.

personally I prefer a gooseneck slant without a ramp. We had a featherlite straight load bumperpull trailer with a ramp. Hated the ramp! The horses did ok, but when I have hauled with a slant load gooseneck they seemed to do a little better. I think both trailers are great brands, so it doesn't sound like you could go too wrong with either choice. I feel that backing a gooseneck is much easier. Good luck on your choice!
