Where can I find more info about this trailer model?  The numbers don't seem to match anything I can find on the Exiss website.

The trailer is a 2001.  I can clearly read Event on the left rear door, and the SS/300 is on both sides.  The pictures show the trailer at an angle, so I'm not totally sure of the letters/numbers, but I'm pretty sure.

Forgot to add that it's a 3 horse gooseneck.

The 300 Event 3h GN has an 18' box, 7 1/2' goose and a 4' short wall DR or LQ. The SS means it has a painted smooth exterior skin as opposed to the XT models, which have extruded planks welded to the lower half of the sidewalls.

The axles are 5200# with 16" wheels. The standard dimensions are usually 7' wide and 7' high with full running boards. It has a folding rear tack, with 60%-40% rear doors, three reversable vents, rear door windows, head drops, butt sliders and may or may not have a first stall escape door. It will have a walk thru door from the first stall to the forward space.

The dividers are well constructed and have a very easy to use and reliable, slam latches. The flooring is made of aluminum extrusion planks welded to "I" joists.

It's a good trailer and well built. They must have sold a great many of them in 01, as many owners have indicated they have one of that vintage.

I have been emailing the seller of this trailer with some questions.  The additional information that I have gotten is as follows:

·         air conditioner in the dressing room (aftermarket installation, in the wall below the gooseneck just to the left of the door into the dressing room).

·         insulation in the dressing room (also aftermarket, white foam board)

·         horse area power washed every fall, all the mats are taken out

·         tires were new last fall (they may have 150 miles on them)

·         roof resealed last fall

·         brakes checked and cleaned this spring

The pictures of the trailer make it appear extremely clean and in very good shape on the exterior, interior pretty darn good too.  I suspect that it has been stored inside.  Of course, pictures can lie, but the pics are very clear and taken in good lighting.

I think this trailer is a good deal, and while my dream trailer has a full weekender LQ, my reality budget and realistic plans for the near future say this trailer will fit our needs.

If I go look at this trailer with the intent of purchasing, what else should I be looking for?  Any “typical” issues with trailers of this brand/age?

This trailer is an excellent candidate for the installation of a "weekender" LQ. It's structure and layout well lends itself to adding a complete, finished interior.

I have that same model but its a "99.

I love this trailer.

I do not have the pass through door to the horse area. Wish I did !

I just re-sealed the roof as it had a small leak. I have heard that some of the early models had roof leaks, as mine did, so check into that.

I camp in it all the time, it has just a dressing room in the front & I am going to make it into a weekender. Good luck with your purchase.
