Can anyone reccomend a product that can be applied to the ramp to add traction? My horse slipped and fell on the ramp when unloading today . Even thought the ramp is rubber, it gets very slick if they stepped into manure.

Perferated panels, placed with the rough side up, offer excellent traction. The same is true for expanded panels. They can both be affixed to the ramps.

I have used one of the no slip bath mats on my ramp and it works very well. Its the softer foam like stuff, like the drawer/shelf liner stuff one would use in the kitchen. I have also used a coco mat. They are very nice but the mats are expsensive, However!!!! If you go on ebay you can find coco "runner" type mats for laying on outdoor stairs to make to them safe when its icy. They are only 2-3 feet wide and about 10 feet long, I have cut them in half and laced them together to make it more "ramp" sized. They roll up nicely where the thick mats do not and they are heavy.
