Would like some feedback from anyone on lakota trailers. Iam looking at a 2004/3 horse/ standard LQ, ramp, etc. It's a lakota sierra, no slide out. It's a private purchase, barely used, great shape, $34,000.00. Seems a little high when i priced them on this site. How do you not insult someone when making a offer, not a low ball offer either. The good, the bad, the ugly on them is the feedback i need.

We are very please with our Lakota Charger 2012 4H w/ 15' SW. Pulls like a dream and is exactly what i was expecting for the money. We have had it for a year and a half now. That price seems really high compared to what I've seen. Check w/ a dealer on a new one similar in size and fixings. We had a great experince with Tommy B. at Shinin B trailers in Elizabethtown, KY

Thanks AJH, i think it's high too. Will look at shinin b website to see what they have. A question i had was the trailer iam looking at is a 2004. When i went to the lakota website it said they didn't start making them untill 2005.

Perform a "SEARCH" under Lakota for the last year. You will find many threads about them, mostly favourable.

I'm still happy with mine. I think the price is high too. If you like the trailer, just offer them what you think it's worth. Do your homework and you can point these things out to them. They'll take it, or they won't. You would be surprised at what people are willing to take compared to what they advertise especially if they have been sitting on it for a while.

I have a 2007 4 horse 10' SW and find it to be a very good trailer.  Lakota stands behind their trailers very well.  Search under my name Jeepplr and you will see what happened right after I bought my trailer and how Lakota took care of me even though it was not their responsibility to rectify the problem.

How to deal with the price, I can offer no help.

I have a new Lakota Big Horn and I have to say I LOVE it. I, too, purchased mine from Tommy at Shinin' B and can recommend him. I would like to mention how completely pleased I have been with Lakota, though. As with anything new, things happen. We had one lock on a manger that needed to be replaced. Lakota sent us a new lock and the master key to key it to match. They would have paid someone to do it but we felt like it wasn't worth doing that. Amazing customer service. I have been extremely impressed. Oh, and the trailer is AMAZING - both for the horses and the people. :) I wanted to add this as well. The stereo was wired to play through all the speakers and so was the DVD. The TV was not. I sent lakota an email and asked if it was possible. My contact actually hand drew the connections, scanned it, and emailed it to me. And the cool part? It worked. :) Great Customer Service. :)

We bought a new Laktoa Warrior LQ 3 horse last fall and just love it. It has everything we need, pulls great, and the horses seem to be comfortable hauling. We have hauled it a lot over 3 states. Had a problem with sediment clogging the water pump and toilet and Lakota took care of it without any problem. Am very happy with Lakota
