I have a 1986 F350, club cab, long bed, 4wd, straight shift.  It has a 460 enigne.  I'm curious as to its towing capacity.  I'm not sure where to find that information.  I do have an owners manual so will check that tomorrow.

I pulled 10,000 pounds today and it seemed to pull it easily.

This information is on the door jam. It states what the max gross vehicle weight can be and the combined gross weight (truck and trailer) can be.

Thanks.  It did not occur to me to look on the door jam of the truck.  I'll do that today.  I read something online that said 6000 to 10,000, but that's a wide range and didn't seem to tell me anything.

I'll look at the door jam.
