Considering purchasing a 4x4 2011 Dodge. This is considerably higher than my current 4x2. I've got a bulldog coupler and I've heard they can be adjusted? Can someone tell me how to adjust properly in general terms?

Basically your trailer should sit nearly level when hitched to the truck with a full load. Your hitch should have a through bolt on the upright shaft and a setscrew. I attach the trailer to the ball on the truck, dolly the jack down and then loosen the setscrew and remove the safety through pin. Then you can use the jack to lower or lift the trailer in relation to the truck. When you find that perfect spot tighten the hitch. You do have to take into account that the truck will be unloaded in this process so it will sit higher. It takes several times to get it all correct.
