The alum on my horse trailer looks awful and I was told to do an acid wash. Where would I get that from and what are the best brands?
The white on my trailer is also really bad but the paint is so thin in some places that I can see the alum underneath. I'm assuming it would cost a fortune to have it repainted any suggestions on what to use on the white to at least get the dirt out?
I'm sure these questions have been asked many times but this is the first time I've been on this forum so I'm hoping for some helpful replies.

There are many many threads on here that discuss that very subject, just do a search, stretch to the last 365 days and you should find the information that you are wanting to know.
BTW,the acid wash won't do anything to clean your white "skin",just the aluminum itself.

As a suggestion for cleaning the aluminum - see if you have a BLUE BEACON truck wash in your area. They can make a dingy aluminum trailer look real good in 5-10 minutes and about $35 for a 4 horse w/ LQ. They will have it clean before you can get out of the truck pay and get back to drive it out of the bay. Have ours done there.
