I have had no dealings with them at all.
Looking at the specs on their trailers they are a little on the heavy side and a little expencive after you add in all the extras. That is just my 2 cents.
We bought a 17' Royal from them last year, it was fantastic dealing with them. We have not been let down by anything. I have enjoyed recommending them to folks.

Wow guys, even with the extras we got a brand new 2012 Elite from Trail Rider Trailers and it was less expensive than a 4 year old used one.In addition the quality of these trailers far exceeds the construction of some of the bigger names that charge thousands moreThe ease with which they are to deal with is wonderful, what a pleasure to have a manufacturer that is willing to build whatever you want, however you want.

I agree, I felt we got a lot of trailer for our money. Regarding the weight, they build a quality trailer with a lot of steel in it. The folks also stand behind their trailer with the longest structural warranty I've seen thus far.

I agree, we have bought two trailers from them, the first was a 10' LQ and we were able to step up to a 14'.We were able to sell our 10' for what we paid for it and we had it for 2 years. They are also capable of building all aluminum. In fact they continue to work to lighten their trailers with innovative ideas.Good luck with your trailer, we love ours.

These trailers look really nice. Being as they are steel with an aluminum skin. I was wondering how they pull compared to an all aluminum trailer? Also does anyone have the option of the winterization pkg? If so do you like it? It sounds like a great idea. Thanks!

While this isn't exactly an apples to apples comparison, here's some numbers. We had a 3 horse 10' LQ 4 Star, the floor length was about 26' it weight around 9000lbs empty so that comes out to 346lbs per foot. Our Trail Rider is 3 horse 17' LQ and weights a shy over 12000 empty which comes out to 387lbs per foot. You won't be pulling safely (in my opinion) our trailer with anything less then a medium duty truck, but a strong quality built aluminum trailer isn't that much lighter then these trailers. MFG have to put more material into aluminum to make them as strong as steel. I'm not bashing aluminum trailers by any means, just saying you should not shop by weight alone. We loved our 4 Star but with the cost of aluminum, we got a lot more for our money with Trail Rider. A long post I know, to sum it up, I have been thrilled with how our trailer pulls and handles.
