I have a question here for all the experts on changing from a 16 in. wheel to a 17.5in. wheel. We have a Bloomer with 16's on it currently, but, shopping for tires the only viable option seems to be the gy g614's which are real pricey. It currently has the g614's on it, but, they were all 5 made in late '03, the trailer is an '04 model. This leads me to believe that they are original tires to the trailer. Interestingly though the vin tag shows it to have 17.5's. My main question is since I will have to drop a large amount of money on tires would I be better off to move up to 17.5, have a better selection of tires, more strength and so on. After I swap I can polish up the 16in aluminum's and sell them on ebay to recoup some money. Or, would I be just as well served to buy the gy g614's and move on? Thanks for opinions and info.
