I am starting to think about what I can do with my new-to-me 2H GN. I'd like a weekend package. My shortwall is @ 43", with the door on the SW side. The interior is plain and uninsulated, but does have an A/C. There is no boot box on the bulkhead wall. I have my old truckbox in there for now. It also has a nice blanket bar on the slant wall, which I may have removed and replaced somewhere else. I'd thought of a small dinette on the bulkhead wall. I plan on having a walk-through door put in. I don't need it too fancy.. fridge, microwave, maybe a sink that would drain to the outside... I'd love an interior shower and potty, but I think neccessity dictates a cowboy shower and portapotty in the first stall. Any ideas of How to get the most out of the space?.

We have a full kitchen and bath with shower in a 4' LQ. 3 1/2' is enough to give you enough room for all of your needs. A dinette will cramp the room's floor space. Making the boot box into the main seating area saves a lot of room. A fold down table on the aft wall can substitute for a free standing table/dinette.
Look at the "weekender" LQ photos of the many trailers for sale, especially the Exiss interiors by Sierra. Using an existing interior to copy, saves a great deal of planning and mistakes.

I have a 4' sw. I went back and forth about the shower and bathroom. I decided that a Thetford porta potty was preferable to me over and installed bathroom and thought it was something I could always change if I decided to - so far so good, though and I like not having it in the front part. I planned to have the shower in the dr, though, as having a comfortable place to take a shower was more important to me.
My current plan, though not completed at this point, is to have a sliding wall that incloses the first slant stall. That wall will have a door that lines up with the door between the dr and horse area. In my mind the walls and floor inside are a bit elaborate so that they are always clean from horse contact. On the rear side will be my bathroom area complete with a small sink and running water. On the head side will be the shower, the bottom of which will collapse into a box that can then be used as a stool or step.
If this ultimately doesn't work (but it seems to work very well on paper), my original plan still works for the inside of the front and can be added in easily enough.
Along with the beautiful installation that trot-on linked, there is a link in another thread to a 2 foot package that has a bathroom but no shower. That was done by a company in Georgia. That company has excellent simple, functional, space-saving packages and their website is worth a look. I'll find the link if someone doesn't beat me to it.

I love the 2 foot LQ linked here. I also enjoyed the other one linked. There was a trailer on here with the dinette that was placed alongside the bulkhead wall, not the sidewall, that I liked also. I actually pinned it to my pintrest horsetrailer album. I am continuing to collect photos and hopefully arrive at something functional. I, unfortunnately have no sense of space or volume, so I have a hard time judging the available space. My friend suggested making cardboard templates and arranging and rearanging them to fit. I do not currently have enough truck to have the pulling power to add the weight of a gray, black or water tanks, so will have to limit it to a gray water line that drains outside. I don't think I'll add a cooktop, thanks to my years of tent camping.. I have enough camp cook gear to provide for whatever I may need. I think I'd rathr cook outside anyway. I still would like any and all ideas to help with the planning process.
