We soon leave for warmer weather with the horse trailer. New trailer has holding tanks, and it's winterized. While overnighting along the way, can the potty be used even though it has antifreeze in it? Hate to have to go outdoors in search of the bathroom in the middle of the night.

You will not be able to flush it. You will not have water in your tank to flush with. Unless you want to just let it flush/dump into the holding tank. I guess you could put some extra water in the holding tank and dump extra antifreeze in there. How smelly it gets depends on how much you use it :) I have flushed a few times sans water when using it while traveling.

You could look into using beet juice in the holding tanks. Just remember RV Antifreeze will still freeze solid around 10 degrees Fahrenheit and is not intended to be diluted by water.
