I just bought a used 06 trailer with Rumber flooring which I thought was a nice option. But my unshod horse slips on it when getting in and out. Is this a common problem?

put trailer mats over it just like a wood floor. Rumber has no cushion like wood and is slick like wood. But is just depends on, if you are concerned about your horses condition and safety

Yeah- I had the same problem. I bought mats like what Logan uses in their trailers. The ones that are lighter weight and have the big grooves or urine channels. I put them over the rumber and it works great. No more slipping. I did have to cut them to fit in my trailer. Box cutter is the only thing that cuts them.
