I have a 3 horse trailer with full LQ and the batteries were finally dead after 5 years, guess I shouldn't complain. Anyway, I took them out without paying attention how they were connected, got the new batteries and now there seems to be wires everywhere to hook back up and I can't get it back together. Does someone have a diagram they could post or tell me where all these wires should go?
I have one large red one that comes out for the electric jack, and then the jumper wire with two fuses coming out and the white ones that go to the negative. But the jumper wire from one battery to the other has a red and a black wire in together, how does that one go connected? Arggg....I feel dumb for not paying better attention. This just doesn't seem like it should be so hard. Thanks!!

Since many trailers have their own way of being wired...i.e. some trailers have one battery set up for their electric jack and a pair of batteries for the rest of the trailer's living quarters and horse area...post some pictures of your wiring and we might be able to help you...

That's my fear!!
I'll take a picture when I get home. There are two batteries, there is one wire coming from the jack so I can know where that goes. But there is another cable that has three different connectors. Two are red, figured those out but the third has a black and red wire coming out of the harness. What does that connect to? Trying to get ahold of the company that put in the LQ, wish they would have put a diagram on the box or something!!

Retento & BigT...
you guys are just cruel with your pics !!
Hosspuller, you being the "CZAR" of trailer wiring, I bet you could have the OP's batteries wired correctly within 10 seconds if the trailer was within a stones throw of your farm...!! Hard to do without looking at it, even harded to tell someone else how to do it without looking at the problem.
These trailers in the crispy and extra crispy pictures may have had them "water coolers" installed that "trot-on" had posted about...!! If so, I'll stick to my trusty, rusty, Coleman ice chest that Noah used on his voyage. You know he wouldn't have used something that would have burnt up the Ark, neither will I...!!!
