Just wondering what most people find normal as to how often to adjust the slack on trailer brakes? We have a 4h, 13' LQ Cimmarron that we've had for 2 years and about 20k miles on it. Appears that the brakes need adjusted. I know it depends a lot on how much they are used, but I have never had to adjust brakes on any trailer before.

It also depends on HOW HEAVY the trailer is as well...

Fully loaded it will come in right at 18,800...most of the miles, would be in that 16-18k range I would say.

All of mine get adjusted anywhere from 3000-5000 miles.... I like to keep them snugged up. Plus, it keeps the adjusters freed up, keeps them easy to turn.
