I am concerned about attaching an awning to the fiberglass roof of my horse trailer. I have a Trail-et. It does have the steel framing in the roof, but I don't want to jeopardize the integrity of the fiberglass. I have seen some fiberglass roofs with awnings, but not alot. Please post your opinions. Greatly appreciated.

I put one on  trail-et we use to own. I made sure I attached it to the metal frame. Never had any problems with it.

I would think that most trailer dealer who do awnings would have experience with the fiberglass roofs as they have been around for quite some time. Find a reputable dealer and you should be fine!
