I just bought a Bison trailer 612 BPT but the battery was not in the box because it was stolen. Could you please help me with the part number and specification If you don’t have this information please let me know where I can find it

Measure the inside three dimensions of your battery box. Take them to your local automotive parts store, and purchase a deep cycle marine battery that will fit within those dimensions. Purchase the battery with the longest total exchange policy and warranty, that has the highest CCA cold cranking amps available.

You can also call the factory direct and order a replacement: 574-658-4078 or give us a call and we can order one for you. As Gard said though they are readily available elsewhere.

I ended up purchasing golf cart batteries - based on their specs, the seem to provide the most energy for the buck - even more than the deep cycle marine batteries. I don't need any CCA's - I'd be in trouble if I had an appliance that would require that much initial power to get started!!
Kinda off topic - how much ventilation should the batteries have? I purchased an enclosed aluminum battery box (it is NOT airtight by any stretch of the imagination) and I was wondering if I should keep the door open while I am charging the batteries or are the battery boxes made with adequate ventilation?
