Hi

I need to replace the 2 windows in the stall area of the trailer. The actual measurements (including the metal rim) are 17.5 x 33.5"

The existing windows are plastic "glass" and slid. The screens are long gone. I cannot find a size similar to this. Suggestions please!

When this happened to me I just had a slightly larger window put in. It isn't that obvious once installed.

There are many sliding trailer windows for sale on Ebay right now. If you can't find the right size, most frames can be disassembled. The sliding glass can be replaced with 1/4" Lexan, which can be cut and worked with common wood working tools.

Most screens are simply held into place with a small molding pressed into a grove. The screening material is available at most hardware and big box stores.

Most quality glass shops should be able to cut you a piece of tempered glass to fit the size you need.

What I found with mine, was that the frames were not designed to be disassembled and re-assembled.  so there was no way to take the frame apart with out destroying it.  The windows in my trailer. (Huhr) were really designed to be replaced as an total assembly not just a piece of glass.

I got a piece of Lexan cut and it had enough flex in it to allow me to bow the plastic and slip it into the tracks. That was a cheaper solution than replacing the whole window assembly.

Not only is the plastic broken on both windows, but the frames are junk. Bent in many places. Leaky too (had to replace the floor). If I dont replace the windows, I'll end up replacing the floor again!

I'm very familiar with Lexan. I'm really looking for a complete window that just needs to be installed. It seems the size is very weird, unless I am measuring it wrong? its a 91 S & S 2 h BP with a dr.
