Got my new Merhow two days ago and went to gravel yard to get it weighed. The yard let us weight truck/trailer combo (18260) and then pull the truck off to leave just the trailer (7700). I have a couple questions...From a previous jaunt, I know the truck is right around 8000 (2007 Dodge 4x2 quad cab 3500 dually). This may sound stupid, but would that then give me a pin weight of around 2500? And another seemingly dumb question...if the trailer is 10260 dry (or thereabouts), I just add up approximate horse, water, food, accessory weight and then divide by 4 to get what each tire is theoretically carrying? And WHY can't I seem to make paragraphs? Everything always runs into one glob :)
