While looking for an aluminum goose neck trailer to replace my 1994 steel trailer, I stumbled across a trailer with a steel frame and stainless steel skin.
I was looking at aluminum for longevity. Would I get the same longevity from stainless steel on a steel frame?
Thanks for any words of wisdom or experience you can share!

Probably not and the trailer will much heavier than an "all aluminum" trailer. Those corogated stainless steel sheets are heavy and a steel frame is a steel frame no matter what the outer skin might be. Then there's some maintenance issues with that polished stainless. It all nice and shiny but requires proper maintenance to keep it looking that way, it has a tendency to streak.... Welcome to HTW...!!

I have a hawk trailer which is a steel frame aluminum skin and never had a problem with it. So far so good no complains, I wouldn't eliminate them it is my second one and I didn't have issues with my first one either.
