I have a new to me 10 year old trailer and it looks like it was well cared for in the past but the previous owner probably wasn't as anal as I am about the details. I have a few areas where lines come into the LQ that I would like to be sealed a little tighter to keep the dust and dirt out. For example around the hotwater heater and where the water lines come in from the outside...no huge gaps just enough to let dust in. What can I put in these areas? Would the grey putty stuff that you see around the ac tubes comming into a house work?

It would be more difficult to remove than the various silicones or modified latexes, but it is far more durable and would be worth the effort if necessary.
