To answer your question regarding a 2 speed- at that time, a single speed would have had the jack handle going straight into the square jack housing. A 2 speed, would have an auxiliary gearbox mounted on the side of the jack with the handle going to the box- which would have 2 shafts protruding from it. You pull the jack handle in/out to change gears.
As far as electric- you would need to know what you have to see about a motor for it. Several of the motor options are no longer made, but we do still have some on hand here at Select. Hydraulics are nice, they just require more funds to buy and effort to mount.

Equalizer Systems (equalizersystems.com) have both electric and hydraulic jacks. I have had an electric jack on my 34" LQ for 20 years and trouble free except for replacing the motor one time. Electric is slow and has a gear reduction as part of the system. I have purchase Equalizer's hydraulic jack and will be installing in near future - should spring ever show up'
The electric system uses your jack and the hydraulic is a complete system including the jack.
