Hello All,
My batteries in my LQ are shot! They are regular 12V batteries...Several folks have suggested to replace them with Marine Deep Cycle 12V batteries.....Planning on replacing them today so send my your suggestions!

The marine or golf cart batteries will last longer than regular car batteries.
I think the best method is to get two 6 volt batteries and connect them in series to achieve 12 volts. This avoids the issue of two parallel batteries discharging each other. And uneven charging.
The downside is a single bad cell affects the whole system capacity.
Google "parallel battery" and see all the pros and cons for yourself

Which way is in series and which is parallel? I bought a second battery for my camper and haven't hooked the second one up yet and was wondering which way to do it.

I dont have room in my battery box for 4 batteries...I have 2 12V car batteries in there now...
Not adding batteries... substitute two 6 volt in series for two 12 volt in parallel. The trick is to figure out which 6 volt golf cart battery is the same size or will fit in the same area as one of the 12 volt batteries.

Not a problem... Look at each battery closely. The terminals will be marked + and - or red for positive and black for negative. Then follow Paul's link above to see how the batteries are to be connected.

Got that! It's hooking all the rest of the wires up that will be interesting!
