Has anyone ever had a problem with one certain tire blowing on their trailer? I had a Trail Magic, 4 horse w/ 6 ft shortwall no LQ and it would blow the right rear tire about once a year. The tires were rated for the trailer, run on the correct air pressure and I normally only hauled 2 horses right over the axles (2 middle stalls). We talked to a trailer repair place and they said that if the trailer had dexter axles, it had to be almost perfectly level or it would blow tires. Has anyone else had issue's with this?

A friend had the same issue on a 32' on the floor....right rear. He used to pull that thing down the road nose up. We leveled it out and it helped alot, but he finally solved his issue by going to 17.5 tires.

If you are running a trailer nose up, the right rear will carry the most weight due to the crown in the roads. The other thing to keep in mind... If it is carrying the majority of the weight, it will be more prone to being knocked out of alignment from a chuck hole, or curb, or anything else that it may strike hard while traveling.

Had a friend with this problem.  Found out his axle was bent.

Thanks for the info. We sold the trailer, with full disclosure of course. We did get the trailer pretty level and never had any issue's after that. Of course, we didn't pull it for a year after we got it leveled either.
