I'm wanting to install a tin ceiling in my LQ. I'm assuming they're faux and tiles possibly?? Anyone have this in theirs or have they installed it? Where is the best place to find the tin?

Somebody on here installed a gorgeous tin ceiling in their LQ. Did you try to do a search on it? I think there were photos posted.
I installed 'tin' tiles in my kitchen area. They are faux, made of some kind of plastic or vinyl. I got them at Home Depot if I remember right. And they are kind of pricey!

Yes, I searched and didn't find anything. I also found the faux tin at Lowes that was pricey...which is why I wanted to see what other's have used in their LQ as it would be pretty pricey to do the trailer!
Anyone else know where to get the decorative tin at a reasonable price?

was LQ trailer shopping with one of my besties out in TX back in April. We hit about 15 trailer lots. I noticed quite a few ceilings with the plastic faux tin ceiling tiles starting to sag some in trailers that were only 2-4 years old! If it was me, I would opt to splurge on the real tin stuff on the ceiling that is only gonna heat up sitting out in the sun at the show grounds . Just my honest opinion.

Thanks brushy! I hadn't realized it would sag/fall... Wonder where I could see a picture of the real tin??? Was it decorative, plain or the 'wavey' stuff?

I tried to find something for you and the forum only goes back a year. Probably was before that. Too bad...it was nice, and had good photos. They used the corrugated tin (real) and it was quite rustic.

It looked to be the plastic faux tin tiles like what they sell at Home Depot. Maybe it was excessive heat on the roof or bad glue. Who knows but it was obvious something was going on.

I would think that you would have to use firring strips first, then glue and tiny nails or staples to hold up the ceiling...just like you would in your house.

You can find textured wallpaper, feels like lightweight cardboard, that is stamped in a huge variety of patterns. When painted, it looks just like the real thing and is relatively inexpensive. Easy to install and durable. Check it out!

I was looking for those same panels last weekend at Lowes and so many of those are being discontinued. If you are lucky enough to find them in stock you may be able to get a heck of a good price.
