Dealer will be the best bet and the ones that want the buisness and want to move trailers WILL DEAL!
I was buying some through the local auctions up until a year or so ago and now all of the RV dealers think they are "horse people" now and have been paying retail for LQ trailer.
Funny thing is they are still on there lots, so they are not selling.

There are a lot of 07 and 08 models on trailer lots that have not been sold. I am guessing you are looking for a bargain. If you have your money together, you can do better as cash talks even more now. As many other threads have mentioned, figure out how many $$$ you have to spend, what your minimum reqirements are, what extras would be nice but you could live without and then go shopping. Just remember whether its ebay or whatever, if it sounds too good to be true, it is probably a scam. Happy shopping.

I can second what Rose says. We picked up a very reasonable 2008 Hart 4 horse with a 6' living quarters for less than $33K brand new this past February. It is a Medallion, which is Hart's entry level trailer, but it has a separate shower and toilet, two burner stove, 3ft refrigerator(3 way), microwave, sink and tons of storage. It also has air and a ducted furnance as well as a stereo/ CD player and an awning. The quality of the conversion is great and the trailer came with Hart's full warrenty and quality construction. It is not the largest living quarters, but we figured it was a good place to start since we only camp a few times a year. It is also not too large to haul around town or to just go trail riding for the day.
Because it was new, we financed through a local bank with a great interest rate for 60 months. The payment is no worse than a car or truck payment so we've actually been able to pay extra and cut the length of the loan even more.
