I bought my trailer with Passenger tires and I need to replace them. I called my farm store and they said they had 8 ply ST's or the 10 ply radial. I need height and can't really put 16 inch rims on this older trailer. Will the radial have softer sidewalls? Or do I need the 8 ply ST tire. I think the radial is an ST also. Any help is appreciated.

It's for an older Wrangler 2 horse Gooseneck.
Thank you. Ms K
In my opinion if they have the 10 ply tires that will fit your wheels I would buy them. The 10 ply tires are are much better for trailers this size.

I agree with HTB. If you can get a 10 ply tire, do it. In 15" sizes, my favourite "trailer" tires, truck LTs, are usually only available in the lower ratings. Otherwise I would recommend them instead.
