Might check with a different installer or dealer. I seen a 2011 F-350 with a B&W hitch in the bed over the weekend. (I'm not sure anything changed on the frame of the Ford's for 11 models)

The Truck is amazing!!! My last Ford was an 03 F250 with the 5.4. The 2011 is a BEAST!!! Gassing it it bearly breaks 4000 rpm pinned. Right now averaging 14.6 MPG with regular gas. I really want a hitch in this thing to put it to the real test. If you are in the market for a new truck I would highly recoommend this one. FORD did their homework.

So this new 2011 truck or yours has the 6.2 gas engine, not the "Scorpion" diesel?
The new 6.2-liter V-8 gasoline engine delivers 405 ft.-lb. of torque (at 4,500 rpm) and 385 horsepower (at 5,500 rpm) on regular gasoline. These numbers represent an increase of 40 ft.-lb. of torque and 85 horsepower over the current 5.4-liter V-8.
