Need an opinion(s) both pro's and con's of a 2004 F-250 Super Duty (5.4 & V-8 4WD XLT) Saw one for sale the other day and liked the looks of it. Doing some research and can anyone tell me about the ride, towing, fuel mileage, problems, power, etc........ Anything would be helpful.

I had an '05 and loved it. It was a regular cab and it rode a little rough unless I was hauling or towing something. Loved the power, it would really get up and go. Towed really well. The downside was I only got about 12-13 mpg.

See if you can get some specs ont he truck. Maybe call Ford with the VIN. Then check your ratings and capacities. I would be interested in which rear end the truck has.
